1. Scope and legal framework

This Policy applies when a person in India uses Kidream.ai (First-party page), including account verification, short-drama viewing, paid membership, payments, benefits, support, cancellation, and refund services.

As at the update date, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 are subject to the commencement timetable notified by the Government of India. We apply the obligations in force and designed this Policy to support the transparency, purpose limitation, security, access, correction, erasure, and grievance standards that take effect under that timetable. Applicable Information Technology Act requirements continue to be respected during transition.

2. Personal data we process

2.1 Data you provide

We may process an email address or mobile number, verification details, profile choices, support messages, refund and cancellation details, and information reasonably necessary to confirm a benefit claim. Do not provide Aadhaar, PAN, full card credentials, or another government identifier unless we specifically explain a lawful need.

2.2 Service and transaction data

We may process order identifiers, subscription and renewal status, payment method type, limited payment tokens or confirmations, watch history, searches, playback progress, benefit status, refund history, and customer-support records. Payment credentials are normally processed by the selected payment provider.

2.3 Technical data

We may process IP address, device and browser type, operating-system and app version, language, approximate location inferred from IP, cookie identifiers, crash logs, security events, and Service interactions. Optional permissions are requested only when needed for the chosen feature.

3. Purposes and grounds

3.1 Requested services and contracts

We process data to verify and secure accounts, supply and personalize short-drama access, operate paid membership, process payments and benefits, keep transaction records, respond to support requests, and carry out cancellation or refund instructions.

3.2 Consent and legitimate uses

Where consent is the required ground, the notice will be clear, specific, and available in English and other language options offered by the Service. Consent may be withdrawn as easily as it was given, subject to processing already lawfully completed. We may also process data for lawful uses recognized by applicable law, including security, compliance, emergencies, and legal claims.

3.3 Improvement and communications

We use proportionate analytics to maintain and improve performance and content discovery. Necessary service messages are not marketing. Promotional messages are sent only as permitted and include an opt-out.

4. Disclosure and processors

We may disclose only necessary data to hosting, content-delivery, authentication, messaging, analytics, security, support, payment, wallet, app-store, and benefit-fulfillment providers under appropriate instructions and safeguards. We may also disclose data in response to valid legal process, to protect users and the Service, or during a genuine corporate transaction with continuity of protection.

We do not publish personal data or sell it for money. A third party acting independently, such as a payment provider, is responsible for its own notice and practices.

5. Cookies and tracking

Necessary technologies support login, security, language, and transactions. Non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are used only with the notice and consent required by law. We do not use a preselected choice, confusing interface, or "subscription trap" to obtain privacy or marketing consent.

6. Retention, security, and breach response

We keep data only as long as needed for the account, transaction-record requirements, chargeback and complaint periods, fraud prevention, or legal obligations, and then erase or anonymise it. We use reasonable security practices, access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, monitoring, processor oversight, and incident response. We will give breach notices to affected persons and authorities when applicable law requires them.

7. Cross-border processing

Kidream.ai is operated from Hong Kong and may use processors in other countries. Cross-border transfers will be made only where permitted by Indian law, subject to any government restriction and appropriate contractual, organisational, and technical safeguards. We remain accountable for processing performed on our behalf.

8. Your rights and grievance process

8.1 Rights

Subject to the law in force and applicable exceptions, you may request a summary of personal data and processing, correction, completion, updating, erasure, withdrawal of consent, grievance redressal, and nomination of another person to exercise rights after death or incapacity where that statutory right applies.

8.2 How to exercise rights

Email support@kidream.ai (Email) with the account identifier and request. We may verify identity proportionately and will not ask for unrelated sensitive data. The designated Privacy and Grievance Team will acknowledge and resolve the request within the period required by applicable law. If unresolved, you may approach the competent Indian authority or consumer forum after using our grievance route where the law requires that sequence.

9. Children and persons with disabilities

The Service is intended for adults. Where the applicable DPDP child provisions are in force, processing data of a person under 18 requires verifiable parental consent unless a lawful exemption applies, and we will not undertake prohibited tracking, behavioural monitoring, or targeted advertising directed at children. A lawful guardian may act for a person with a disability where required by law.

10. Changes and contact

We will provide prominent notice of a material change and seek fresh consent where required. Questions and complaints may be sent to support@kidream.ai (Email). General support is available at the Kidream.ai Support Center (H5 service page; English en-US fallback).
