1. Scope and service
This Privacy Policy explains how DOUDOU CO LIMITED ("Kidream.ai," "we," "us," or "our") processes personal information when a person in the United States uses the Kidream.ai website and short-drama service (First-party page), creates an account, subscribes to Kidream.ai paid membership, watches content, uses a gift-card or other benefit, or contacts support.
This Policy does not govern a third-party payment provider, wallet, app store, gift-card issuer, or linked website acting under its own privacy policy. A notice shown at the point of collection may supplement this Policy. If that notice conflicts with this Policy, the more specific notice controls for that collection.
2. Personal information we collect
2.1 Information you provide
We may collect your email address or telephone number, verification and account details, profile choices, support communications, refund or cancellation information, and information needed to validate a benefit claim. We do not require government identification unless it is reasonably necessary to verify identity, prevent fraud, or comply with law.
2.2 Transaction and service information
We may collect order identifiers, subscription status, trial and renewal status, payment method type, transaction timestamps, payment confirmations or limited payment tokens, content-viewing history, searches, watch progress, benefit status, and cancellation or refund history. Full card or wallet credentials are normally handled by the payment provider, not stored by Kidream.ai.
2.3 Device and network information
We may collect IP address, browser or app version, operating system, device type, language, approximate location inferred from IP, cookie or similar identifiers, crash data, security logs, referral source, and interactions with the Service. Precise location, contacts, microphone, photos, or other device permissions are collected only when a feature needs them and after the notice or permission required by law.
2.4 Information from others
Payment providers, wallets, app stores, fraud-prevention vendors, analytics providers, advertising partners, and customer-support vendors may provide transaction status, attribution data, security signals, or support records. We require an appropriate legal basis and contract before using such information.
3. How and why we use information
3.1 Providing the Service
We use information to create and secure accounts, verify login, stream short dramas, remember watch progress, operate paid membership, process transactions, administer benefits, provide customer support, and carry out cancellations and refunds.
3.2 Safety, integrity, and legal compliance
We use information to detect fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, payment disputes, and violations of our terms; to keep records required by tax, accounting, consumer-protection, and payment laws; and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
3.3 Improvement, analytics, and communications
We use aggregated or appropriately limited data to measure reliability, improve content discovery, troubleshoot errors, and understand Service use. We send transactional messages necessary for an account or subscription. Promotional communications are sent only as permitted by law and include a way to opt out.
4. How we disclose information
4.1 Service providers and transaction partners
We may disclose information to hosting, content-delivery, authentication, analytics, security, customer-support, payment, wallet, app-store, messaging, and benefit-fulfillment providers only as reasonably necessary for their services and subject to contractual safeguards.
4.2 Legal, safety, and corporate events
We may disclose information when required by valid legal process; to protect users, the public, our rights, or the integrity of the Service; or in a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale. A successor must process the information consistently with applicable law and provide any required notice or choice.
4.3 Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising
We do not exchange personal information for money. Some advertising or analytics disclosures may be treated as a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising under certain state laws. Where those laws apply, we provide the required opt-out and honor legally recognized browser-based opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control, when technically detectable.
5. Cookies and choices
We use strictly necessary technologies for login, security, language, and transaction flow. With any consent required by law, we may use analytics or advertising technologies. You can use available cookie controls, device settings, browser settings, or the privacy request channel below. Blocking necessary technologies may prevent account or payment functions from working.
6. Retention, security, and international transfers
6.1 Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, including the life of the account, the applicable transaction-record period, dispute and chargeback windows, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. We then delete or de-identify it unless continued retention is legally required.
6.2 Security
We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards proportionate to the nature and risk of the information, including access controls, encryption in transit where appropriate, monitoring, vendor review, and incident response. No system is completely secure; if a breach triggers notice duties, we will notify affected persons and authorities as required by law.
6.3 International transfers
Kidream.ai is operated from Hong Kong and may use providers in other countries. We use contracts and other lawful safeguards for cross-border processing. Information may be subject to lawful access in the destination country.
7. Your privacy rights
7.1 Requests available to U.S. users
Depending on your state and applicable exemptions, you may request access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy; opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; limit certain uses of sensitive information; withdraw consent; and appeal a denied request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a legal right.
Submit a request to support@kidream.ai (Email). Describe the right and state of residence. We may verify your identity using information already associated with the account and may verify an authorized agent's authority. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any denial and appeal route.
7.2 California notice
The categories collected are identifiers; customer records; commercial and transaction information; internet or electronic activity; approximate geolocation; audio or visual material you intentionally submit to support; and inferences used for security or content discovery. Sources, purposes, and recipient categories are described in Sections 2–4. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of persons under 16 without the authorization required by law. California residents may exercise the rights described by the California Attorney General (External website), subject to the law's scope and exceptions.
8. Children
The general-audience Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child provided information contrary to this rule, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as required by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Rule (External website).
9. Changes and contact
We will post material changes before or when they take effect and obtain consent if required. The date above identifies the current version. Questions, complaints, or rights requests may be sent to support@kidream.ai (Email). Account, cancellation, and refund help is available through the Kidream.ai Support Center (H5 service page).
